On Thursday, February 26, Romania Canada Business Association (CBEX) brought together a group of business and finance professionals for a breakfast session on Romania’s Macro-Economic Outlook, in partnership with the Embassy of Canada to Romania, Bulgaria & Moldova|Ambassade du Canada en Roumanie, Bulgarie & Moldova, and Citi Romania. President Victor Constantinescu and Senior Trade Commissioner John Ormond delivered remarks, after which Mihai Sipciu, VP Corporate Sales & Derivatives Marketing Dealer at Citi, then walked participants through a thorough analysis of Romania and global markets in 2026. What followed was a fruitful discussion on market dynamics & investment risks, all thanks to our participants. This event emphasized the importance of fully understanding the political and economic climate and fostered further connection between the Canadian-Romanian business community.
